Become a Mentor
Partner with Us
We currently support piano, woodwinds, strings, percussive instruments, and vocals. If you play an instrument that is not on that list, we would love for you to join PMMP so we can add it on! The time commitment to be a mentor is about an hour a week.
Please join our listerv so you will receive emails about upcoming general body meetings and tutoring opportunities. Tutors usually join at the start of each semester and will be required to attend one training session before they can start teaching.

If the subscription does not work, please email email@example.com.
Our partners allow us to be the successful, expanding organization that we are today. If you feel your school or community group could benefit from partnering with Penn Music Mentoring Program, please contact us! We are always ready to explore the possibility of expanding our program.
If you represent any sort of performing arts group (on or off campus) or other organization that might want to work with the Penn Music Mentoring Program, feel free to get in contact with us.
We are always in need of dynamic and inspiring music mentors! No previous music teaching experience is required. All we ask is that you are patient, dedicated, and compassionate when teaching.
Make a Donation
The Penn Music Mentoring Program is accepting donations of all kinds. All funds collected by PMMP are used to support our programming in local public schools or our own operational costs.
PMMP is an all-volunteer organization, and none of its participants, including the executive board, accept any payment for their services.
If you would like to donate:
Music method books (any level, any instrument/voice part, any condition)
Other sheet music (any instrument/voice part)
Musical accessories (e.g., anything from music stands to valve oil, polishing cloths, and resin)
Any musical instrument (must be in playing condition -- if unsure about playability, contact us)
Concert tickets (to events in the Philadelphia area)
Please contact us. Your generosity will be greatly appreciated!
